Length of time at CCNB: 4 months

Reason corpsmember was selected: Nimsy is always optimistic and interacts positively with every person he works with. As Field Education Facilitator, Nimsy shares his desire to learn and thirst for knowledge and is a great example to the team. He is always teaching and building camaraderie.

Skills training received at CCNB: Sawyer 1

Leadership roles at CCNB: Field Education Facilitator and currently promoted to Assistant Crew Leader

Favorite project: Building trails and fences

Favorite aspect of working at CCNB: Working on a team, learning to be on time and responsible.

Future plans: Go to College of Marin after his contract is done at CCNB

Prior to CCNB: Worked in Terra Linda in a little restaurant called Chipotle Mexican Food.

Why they joined CCNB: Because we learn to use different power tools and we also learn about the environment and how to take care of it.

How CCNB has changed their life: Because I am learning English everyday and new skills as also.

Advice for young people: Enjoy what you do, work with other people, be on a team, be respectful and always pay attention to your supervisor.
