Reason corpsmember was selected: Grown into Assistant Crew Leader position quickly. Takes ownership of projects and teaches skills to other corpsmembers.
Skills training received at CCNB: Sawyer II, crosscut saw, brushcutter, electric and gas drill, hedge trimmer, landscape fabric installation, tread maintenance
Leadership roles at CCNB: Assistant Crew Leader.
Favorite project: Bladamir likes all the projects, but his favorites are when he can use the brushcutter.
Favorite educational component: Bladamir is very motivated to improve his English and enjoys the English classes. He also takes English classes at College of Marin.
Favorite aspect of working at CCNB: Working as a team to complete a project.
Future plans: He wants to learn more English so he can take classes to learn either car mechanics or plumbing.
What did corpsmember do before joining CCNB?: Worked as a plumber.
Why did corpsmember join CCNB?: Because he needed to study and CCNB provides good work while allowing time to study.
How has CCNB changed your life?: He knows more English and has learned a lot about the environment.
What life lessons has the Corpsmember learned from the experience?: How to work together and respect other people.
Any advice for young people wanting to join CCNB?: This is a good opportunity to learn if you are willing to work hard.
What's the most important thing you've learned from this experience?: The work experience and respecting others.
