Reason corpsmember was selected: Dominic is an outstanding corpsmember. He works hard, quickly and efficiently and is responsible, respectful and reliable. He has come to Novato to help sort and do routes while motivating both Novato and Sonoma crews. Dominic spoke with legislators that came on a site visit very eloquently and persuasively.
Skills training received at CCNB: Construction skills with bin building, tool use such as drills, chopsaw and skill saw. Extensive facts about recycling adn materials.
Favorite project: Working large events like Harmony Fest.
Favorite educational component: Visting college campuses on field trips.
Favorite aspect of working at CCNB: The focus on personal advancement of goals and achievement.
Future plans: Becoming an Art major at the junior college and becoming an animator or graphic artist.
What did Corpsmember do before joining CCNB? Unemployed and in dead end jobs.
Why did Corpsmember join CCNB? To finalize my education and get "pointed in the right direction".
How has CCNB changed your life? Lead me to a successful future.
What life lessons has the Corpsmember learned from the experience? EVERYONE has a chance and potential.
Any advice for young people wanting to join CCNB? You are never a lost cause and there's always somewhere to go.
What's the most important thing you've learned from this experience? That you can learn something from anyone.
