Recycling services and education for your special event – just the FAQs.

What kind of events does your Community Recycling program cover?

We provide Special Event Recycling Education & Collection at over two dozen events in Marin and Sonoma Counties each year.

Events include county fairs, school events, city & town fairs, and races. Some of the events that we have served include: the Marin County Fair, Bioneers Conference (Marin), Novato Festival of Art and Wine, Sausalito Art and Wine Festival, the Marin Human Race, Marin Triathlon, Manor Elementary Winterfest, and many others.

Do you charge for recycling at special events?

Many of our recycling services are free of charge. Fees are charged depending on the level of services requested.

What recycling services do you provide?

Our special event services include:

  • Providing recycle bins
  • Collecting and sorting the recyclables
  • Pre-event consultation and planning
  • School presentations
  • Onsite monitoring
  • Eco-Stations - staffed by a member, these educate the public on recycling and CCNB impact through signage and member interaction. CCNB "eco-stations" have been placed at the Marin County Fair, Bioneers, The Marin Triathlon, and Sonoma Green Festival.
